技術は有用である
Technology is helpful.
More translation software and I hope it is right.
I am a "language dummy." It is very stressful to learn a new language.

My daughter and husband both have language talent.
They both studied Japanese a little while, and they remember some from years ago. My daughter is especially very good at learning languages!
They both speak Spanish.

Before we went to Spain, I had a very simple book and CD to learn common phrases.
When we got to Spain I was "tongue-tied." I could not remember what to say.
When I calmed down, and was not nervous, I could talk like a baby. People could understand my simple questions.

It was a relief: the Spanish people were very friendly and helpful.
