FireworksWe went to watch fireworks two weeks ago. There were fireworks on
Tama river.
When I was very young, I didn't like fireworks. Especially I was scared sounds of firework. I just
hung to my father. I couldn't watch fireworks.
My younger son likes trains. He wants to became the driver of the train. My older son too.
I took pictures, when we went to fireworks.

Oh fireworks!
Usually the only time we have fireworks in the US is for the celebration of 4th of July—Independence Day, a patriotic holiday here.
I hated fireworks when my daughter was young because my neighbors would shoot them into our yard. This was illegal, but they did it anyway. We had flammable things in our yard like gas cans, oxygen and aceteline cannisters, and dry wood from dead trees. I was always afraid they would catch fire and burn our house down. My cats were also very frightened by the noise.
When I was a girl, my parents would take us to a drive-in A&W to watch the fireworks for the 4th of July and we would had ice cream floats. Ice cream and Root Beer. It was fun.
And one year Mr. Tess, little tess, and I flew to San Francisco and we saw fireworks over the bay just before we landed. It was spectacular to see from the plane!
Sorry if I wrote too much. I am still in a "memory" mode.
Best wishes!
Not to bother you, but...
Do your sons have model trains to play with?
My brothers had 2 different gauges of model trains, and a racing car set. I remember it was so much fun setting them up in different ways to watch the toy trains run around their tracks...
Are there still toys like that?
Tess,
Thank you for comments. I learn English from comments.
My sons want doing with fireworks. But I don't want doing that. Because after that I have to clean them.. And I am afraid of fire too.
But big fireworks are so nice.
When we went to Hawaii, Hawaiian people did a lot of fireworks in New Year’s Day.
My sons really like playing with model trains and Lego.
I think that playing model trains are better than TV games.
I like to see that my sons play with model trains together.

I like comments, too. They make a blog seem more like a conversation with a person than that I'm just talking to myself.
Big fireworks are nice, but doing them at home is dangerous.
Your picture of the kids playing looks like they had so much fun. I think that was from before I started reading your blog.
I agree that playing with things and making stuff is better than always being on the computer or watching TV.
