My sons' sports day
Evert year Japanese schools have sports day. Last Saturday, it was the sports day. I just watched it. But I was very tired... Next day I could't get up..

My younger son ran in a running race. But his shoe was gotten off. And he jump on his one foot. He was afraid of dirty his socks.

I should have told that if his shoes get off, you run!

Mr. Tess likes your post. I usually don't let him read over my shoulder, but this time I did, and he thought it was cute.

It's very funny that you would be tired even though you did not run in the sports day events. A mother wants her child to succeed and that can make a mother tired. It's not really funny.

(Lucy, I know that you work very hard at your job and stress at work will make anyone tired, too.)

You are learning English very well. Not to take on the role of a teacher, but this is what I understand from what you wrote:

Your younger son participated in a running race, and he lost his shoe. He was worried that his socks were dirty, so he jumped on one foot instead of continuing to run. You wish that you had told him to run, no matter what happened. Just RUN!

I only hope that you and your child had fun.

Tess,
Thank you for understanding my situation. Every time I try to give up this blog.
Because, first, it is hard to write what I want to say in English. Second, I am busy. Third,
I feel tired and sleepy.

Thank you Tess!!
"He was worried that his socks were dirty” Yesterday, I thought
How did I say it in English?
"dirty" is adjective. So I thought my line was strange. But I couldn't do anything.

I try to speak up your natural, cool sentence.

Lucy, don't worry about your English. It is getting better and you are open to learn from other people. Being open and willing to learn is very important.

I understood the same thing what Tess said, even if your sentences were sort of strange. But as I said above, you are doing well!
