Nara VS Rothenburg
My uncle is worried about our historical cities have a lot of electrical cables. We can't keep the scenery of old cities. We should have made underground utility lines!
The other hand, Rothenburg in Germany is very beautiful town. I think Germany takes good care of their old towns.

You can see five-story pagoda . It is not match.
Rothenburg
This picture was taken by my uncle, when he went to Rothenburg.

Amazing how much better a city looks with underground utility lines!

Hi, I have been reading your blog for about a week, I was just hitting the "Next" key and found your blog. I'm from Arizona, my mother was born in Tokyo and came to America in 1948. I'm impressed that you are working so diligently at learning English, keep it up I am sure you will master English very quickly.

AZ,
Thank you for comments, and understanding my situation. .
It is difficult to post my feeling in English. So every time I’m late. (Sorry)
Your mother was born in Japan. You are similar to your mother?

It was hard to keep your Japanese heritage when growing up in the United States. My mother tried, but kids only want to play and have fun, not sit and learn to speak Japanese. I look a little like my mom and I wake up every morning happy like she did.

I suspected the bottom picture was not from Japan, and I was right :)
Utility lines and electric wires can truly damage the feeling.

AZ,
You try to speak Japanese, if your mother want it. If I live in The USA long years, I would miss Japan.

SzélsőFa,
I'm sorry always I'm late. When I post my comments, I feel sleepy.
So I have long time to post.
LOL

Hi Lucy!

Wow! I'm so impressed that you are using your blog to learn English! Way To Go!

Power lines are a problem everywhere. Even in the country or wilderness, you see beautiful mountains with a path of trees cut away for power lines. Very sad.

Keep up the good english!

I never learned to speak Japanese. My mother learned English quickly, she had no choice since no one in our town spoke Japanese. My mother's name was Hatsuko.

Raynier,
Hello! Thank you for comments. Where do you live? Japan is small islands. I think your country is bigger than Japan??

AZ,
I think Hatsuko-san speaks English fluency.
She came to The USA. So she had a lot of experience hardships.
